Our play sessions are based on the philosophy of child initiated learning, through play. Children have the opportunity to choose developmentally appropriate outdoor and indoor activities, between the four, year two classrooms. Teachers provide a wide range of activities that include manipulative play, fantasy play, and real world play, as well as play which extends spacial, mathematical and scientific thinking. These sessions also give our teachers a chance to extend children’s emotional and social intelligences, whilst they are interacting and participating with a larger range of children.
